Dear Haters,
Gene Simmons doesn't do pretty, fancy, flowery finger-work on his bass. His style is coarse, earthy & masculine. If you don't appreciate this type of thing, you're probably some nerdy classical guitar student at a third-rate community college. If this is the case, then your opinion is invalid, as you have no idea what real rock should sound like.
Gene's bass is the musk of the KISS forest. Bask in it's heady ear-oma or GTFO.
