Gunship 2000 Mission

I love the old DOS game Gunship 2000 and just recently figured out how to video capture it. Check it out.

A 2S6 eats me up halfway through the mission and then HQ changes my mission and being as I was already shot up I decided to bag it...

Note that I'm using only the keyboard, hence the jerky movements.

Ever heard about dropping Chaff or Flares to avoid the "we´re hit!"-Sound? usually x or y for flares!

@McDuffee01 Yeah those are great, except they don't work on laser-guided missles from a 2S6 ... :)

@jamon51 Yeah, 2S6s were heavy bitches. Only way to do 'em in was either scrape the ground and rush in then drop 'em before they get a lock (you have about 5 seconds or so) or pop behind a hill, loose a FnF and go down behind it again (to lose the laser lock).

Or you could sacrifice a squadmate.

I'm itching to play it again, been so many years, and nothing else like it...or Commanche 3.

I loved playing that game, even when newer games with better graphics came out the quality of MicroProse and the enemy AI and etc still made this a great game. Wish I still had it.
