I began building this diorama eight months ago. Chronologically this is my most recent diorama and I feel is my best. Though the vehicles are made by Forces Of Valor and Ultimate Soldier and come pre-painted, I repainted or weathered all of them. I wish I could take credit for the figures but I cannot and must give credit to Pepi15 (who without, my dioramas could not get anywhere near to realism). Although this diorama looks from the German side, the Western Allies suffered greatly - especially from "Friendly Fire" (the largest oxymoron in the English language). Some of the most courageous acts during the Falaise Pocket action were performed the Polish Army. I highly recommend reading more on this less than one-month period of the Second World War. Thank you for watching, commenting and subscribing to my videos. Thanks, Beetstreet

  • okay im starting my own ww2 diorama, any suggestions on what to use for the hedge rows?

  • @StevenMrSlave Sorry about the delay in getting back to you. The Christmas season is the busiest time of the year for me at work. Rather than me rambling on about hedgerows, check out the website for lone sentry. It should appear in a standard google search. When there, use their site search engine and type in hedgerows. It should give you a better description than I can, including a picture of a cross section of a standard hedgerow. Hope that helps, Beetstreet

  • what scale was this in

  • @StevenMrSlave The scale is a blend of 1 32nd and 1 35th. Thank you for subscribing. Beetstreet

  • did they actually use captured russian weapons in the western front?

  • @norseleague If you get the chance to review the units involved in Normandy, you will notice that, especially in the case of the Waffen SS, they were transferred from East to West. Examples include: 1st SS LSSAH, 2ns SS Das Reich, 9th SS Hohenstaufen, 10th SS Frundsberg and the 101st SS Schwere Panzer Abteilung. Sometimes the enemy's guns are better than your own, so why not use them? Beetstreet
