Breaking a cutting into basement cement floor to install a half bath in basement and laundry. Along with the help of my daughter we broke up and cut open the basement floor, We rented the cement saw from The Home Depot and this made the job much easer safer and clean after cutting open the basement floor we started digging out the dirt and exposing the old building sewer drain so that we could tie in the new building drain for the new half bath and laundry in the basement. My daughters was a lot of help and a very good little plumber she's been working with me since she was 10 years old at her on well Yea she got paid J she work harder then some of the guys I had work for me. She proves women can be great plumbers me I don't believe in a men job is a man job and a women job is a women job if you can do it ( DO IT ) Some of the best men are cooks why can't some of the best Plumbers be women. Be sides that I was a single parent raising a young Lady. Yes I'm proud of my daughter J . With that said my daughter and I after digging up the dirt started to remove some of the old building sewer pipe to connect the new building sewer pipe for the half bath and laundry after installing the new pipe we started back filling meaning putting the dirt back in the open floor and cementing it back in the floor. This job took use two days to complete the ground rough . Thank you guys so much for watching my Youtube videos.

  • @aceaceaceJOKER Thank you very much. Your comment means a lot it makes it all worth wild :-)

  • Will you please do a video where you explain draining system for the entire house?

Like take a pen and paper and draw it while you explain. I can't find any video on that.

Particularly i want to know about the vents. Does every drain (shower, bath, sink, basement floor hole..etc..) have to vent?

  • @IQexists Good idea. I will work on that. Thank you very much.

  • @TheOldkid888. Yes your right. This job was done in St Louis County. In the City of St Louis is even thiner. Some no more then 2reading inch. VERY OLD HOMES THERE. Any way thank for checking in on me buddy.

  • Nice work plumberx. Love the wet saw for sure. No dust and works great!!!

Little luck on your side as well; that slab wasn't very thick and that was a bonus. At least 4 inches thick up north is the thinnest I have ever dealt with.

    Great video! Al
