Natalie ran all the way to the library and to a certain study desk in the back. She slowly sat down & looked all over the desk hysterically while crying. Then she spotted it, her moms carved name. she smiled and brushed her hands over it.
me: *silently crying*
j: *appears behind her & just watches her cry staring at her moms carved name* I knew Id find you here.
me: *doesnt look at him*
j: *sits next to her*
me: *turns to face the other side*
j: Natalie, pls, dont be like this.
me: *hugs Joe & starts crying into his chest* I tried dad. I really tried. But I just cant. Im sry. Im so so sorry.
j: Natalie, pls calm down.
me: I want to love Courtney like the way you want me to. I want her to be like my mom but shes not. I dont wanna let go of mom for her.
j: what? *cups her face* what makes you think youre letting go of your mother for her?
me: I cant have 2 moms.
j: oh Natalie. Thats not the case. You just have to ppl who love you. youll never forget your mom. And neither me nor Courtney want you to.
me: moms mad at me dad. Shell think I chose Courtney over her.
j: Natalie, no....
me: shell never forgive me dad. I cant just forget abt her and love Courtney. no dad. I dont.
j: Natalie, pls. dont do this to yourself. Your mother would never ever think of you like that. You loving Courtney as a mom has nth to do with your mother loving you. it doesnt Natalie.

j: your mom loved you. she still does. And she will never forget that you love her too. Shes not entirely gone nat. shes right here with us. *points to her heart* right there.
me: *nods*
j: and shell never be forgotten. Never. Shell always be a part of us. Courtney loves you and she wants to be thr for you as a mom but that does not mean youre letting go of your mother. Nat, youre not replacing your mom, youre just adding someone else to the family.
me: Im sorry dad. Im so so sorry.
j: you love your mom, I love her too. But just because we love someone else doesnt mean were forgetting her. Well never forget her.
me: I love you dad. *hugs him*
j: is this whats been bothering you all this while?
me: yes. You knew didnt you?
j: I had a slight idea.
me: is that why you havent asked Courtney to marry you yet?
j: i- maybe.
me: Im so sorry dad. I screwed up.
j: no you didnt.
me: ask her tonight. It will be perfect.

r: yes you are. Get dressed and hurry.

r: *grabs her hand* look, like you said right, let him be happy today. if youre gonna break his heart, like I did to nick, then at least give him one last day of happiness. At least sth more than what I gave to his brother.

r: besides, I really need you thr with me pls! I cant go thr all by myself with nick being thr.
c: *sighs* fine.
