The song is about Anthony and John's relation in the pre-Californication times. They were still angry to each other since the Blood Sugar times. Flea told Anthony he'd stop the band rather than letting John apart in the hospital (he was using at that time) so Anthony decided to stop the war and asked John to join the band again. John, like Gong Li, is a precious treasure. An extremely talented artist, with this unique beautifulness.
