What a fantastic choir singing this wonderful hymn. Donnie on the solos, and the Talleys in their verse are great, but the "goosebumps" from listening and watching as so many talented performers forget everything but praising God are great. And the message, to know that our Shepherd would never leave one of His own without returning it to the fold, well, all I can say is Glory, Glory, Glory.

I keep comign bk to hear this over and over - touches me deeply - some wandering sheep think that they are not bad enough to need the Shepherd - and soem think they r too bad to rescued. Jesus will save any repenting sinner.
"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If any one hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me" (Rev 3.20 NIV)

Are you one of the 99 or are you the one that is lost? The Lord is looking for you. Look up to find him. His hand is reaching for you.

This is unbelievably powerful. GO OUT in the desert, and find His sheep! I find this heart breaking .. as MOST today are lost - LOST! - even in today's pews! Lord Jesus Christ, when you return .. will you FIND FAITH on the earth? HURRY BACK!

@djlamar2 That is what Jesus said - though ninety and nine are safe in the fold, but the one is lost, will not the Good Shepherd leave the ninety and nine (in safety) and go search for the one Lost?
Those of us He came and found, we know, yes He did!

@djlamar2 - Luke 15:4What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
Luke 15:6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together [his] friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

This is awesome! I don't mean to use a phrase that has often become trite. I suely do not mean it that way.

Donnie Sumner's life is inspiring for me. What a wonderful version of this song!
I love that Jesus came and searched for me when I was "Out in the desert He heard [my] cry; ... sick and helpless and ready to die."
BTW, What happened to the audio quality?
