This is what makes the USA great. A powerful account by Francis Scott Key citing the American patriots who literally died to keep the flag standing. Presented by radio talk show host Alex Jones.

"The thing that sets the American Christian apart from all other people in the world is he will DIE on his FEET, before he'll LIVE on his KNEES." -George Washington

This candid, moving story must have been to 'graphic' to be tought in our schools.

  • true story no - fiction yes

  • Alex, you should be ashamed....you got this so wrong and you were duped. Where is Key's book where he says all this crap. I don't believe he said it was Christians doing the fighting, nor did Washington. The fort's name is WRONG. The entire channel right there is narrow and the fort had huge advantage of bigger guns, knocking of ship after ship. Yes, the fort took a pounding, but their navy was trapped and fled once they saw it was impossible to pass this point and into Baltimore.

  • Washington did not have the word "Christian" in his statement, that is being added to rewrite our history as though it is a Christian nation, when in FACT, the founding fathers declared that America is not to be considered a Christian nation in any way. Read article X of the Treaty of Tripoli, unanimously passed. Also, it's Ft. McHenry NOT "Henry" and there is no reference to Christians...just to Americans. WHERE is this account of Key's words spoken here? Are words being put in his mouth? YES.

  • Alex the moderator is wrong - in 1814 America was no longer a colony and the fort was and is Fort McHenry - shame for not checking out the facts

  • Amazing! :D

  • yes
