Opening Ceremony - ISSF World Cup Series 2011, Combined Stage 2, Sydney (AUS)

The 2011 ISSF Combined World Cup in Rifle, Pistol and Shotgun events kicked-off today at the 2000 Olympic Shooting Range of Sydney, Australia, where the competition is hosted. The ISSF President, Mr. Olegario Vzquez Raña, welcomed a record number of 750 shooters that came from 68 different countries to compete in fifteen events. Thirty-four Olympic Quota Places, the qualification card for the next 2012 Games in London, will be awarded to the best competitors, in the next days.
