  • golf instruction is appreciated but the landing of golf on the green would be more pratical to prove the instructor's advice. thank you

  • The key to lowering your handicap is the stretch, check out the brand new golf specific TRAINERmat at

  • can u do this with a pitching wedge as well as a sand wedge?

  • @headbandproductions2 yes, my pitching is shitttt:P

  • Yeah, same here. I suppose we can be happy with the suggestion that our situation gives us more power through the swing. Despite making this drill nigh on impossible.

  • Thanks for clearing that up. Good info! Here is a good tip for eveyone. Hit it to the hole. I was trying to do it the way I saw it on TV , youtube, or somewhere on the course. Not everyone hits the ball the same way to be effective. I started playing the ball to the hole and forgetting about mechanics. I took 5 strokes off my game. It was a lot more fun doing it too. Try it! It worked for me.

  • you can hit the same distance with pitch and chip shots. Stan Utley defines chip shot as a shot that you need to de-loft the clubface to utilized the leading edge of the clubhead, whereas a pitch shot is just like a full shot that you use the sole of the clubhead. If you get low traj and lots of roll you are not hitting the ball solid on the sweet spot. Check your divot it should be infront of the ball not behind it.

  • geoff ogilvy recommends this!!! he is rated 2nd best on the pga tour for approach shots from 50-75 yards in 2008.
