This is a video of how I fixed the slide being stuck on my xd 45. At the time of this problem, there was NONE, NADA, ZERO information from anyone on how to fix it because it very rarely happens (try finding another video about this topic). I had to dig through the internet all night to find a fix. I also did not feel like sending it out to springfield because it takes too damn long and gunsmiths are too expensive. I found this remedy on 2 seperate XD forums online. Many others have fixed it this way and after I did so, my gun worked just fine (as described in the video). If you have a less "intense" way to fix the XD 45 via cresent wrench or whatever, please post a vid so we can ALL see how it is done. Otherwise dont post some dumbass "look how cool I am" comment or it will be erased and you will be blocked. Looking forward to new videos on this topic. And p.s., this is by far the best handgun I have ever purchased. Not one jam in over 1000 rounds total out of the gun so far. I will be a return customer in the future and I highly recomend the XD product line.

  • I have 3 XD's, never had this happen. Never, ever, ever. And I shoot them all almost weekly and disassemble and clean after each trip to range. I think it's more a reassembly error.

For all the haters posting about the quality of Springfield XD's, blow me. The XD blows GlockSmock out of the water hands down.

  • I had this happen today on my practically new XD 45 Full Size. We beat against a pressure treated block of wood to everyone at the ranges horror. IF this happens to you do yourself and everyone a favor and bring it to a gunsmith or at least go home. No one wants to see you smash a brand new pistol as hard as you can on a block of wood. People don't believe you when you tell em its your "gunsmithing log".I gave up quickly, brought to a gunsmith and paid him $25 to smash it against a block of wood

  • 2-3 minutes of beating the gun...this is why I won't buy a XD Croatian Sensation.

  • LOL! I definitely was not expecting him to say the solution was to SMASH it has as hard as you could! haha

  • Dude THANK YOU! This happened to me after cleaning my M&P. I had no idea on what to do until seeing your video. I didn't have to hit it quite that hard, but I did manage to knock it loose without damaging the gun. Thank again!

  • @darkvader480 ok... good game.

  • @m0uth4th3war Youre a cocksucker. lol

  • @m0uth4th3war I didnt say that you said Glocks were the first polymer pistol. I mentioned that HK was the first polymer pistol. Because you mentioned that Glock was making them before SA. Which means.... Nothing just like you ya CockSucka!

  • @darkvader480 why...because you're an idiot who can't read? given your low iq, i'd say that's about par for the course. you can fuck off now, dipshit.
