Considering that "The Wolves of Kromer" was made in 1996, for all we know, Lee Williams might be transgendered by now. he certainly appeared highly androgynous in the film.
As a bisexual man myself, I've always had a particular fondness for highly androgynous men, whether transgendered or not, for they tend to be much more in touch with their feminine side than many "faux macho" gay men.
