This is not the way to make hummus. Believe me. Most of my relatives are from Syria and Lebanon...the hummus capitals of the world

I use almost the same recipe - I throw in a bit of cardamom too, it gives it a really nice note!

Looks Delish! I make it almost the same, but I never tried it with cayenne pepper. I do use Cumin and I have never added water.

@HarmonyNewYork instead of water I tend to use the liquid from the can the peas came in, just to moisten the hummus a little. I just forgot and threw it out. LOL
