  • Was wondering if you have anything on BEN ALEXANDER, African American from Harlem, saxophonist, did a lot of studio work in New York. Was the musician on my hit Freeze. Please contact us at station CTNWB or on our blog WES BRYAN -MY LIFE IN MUSIC! Thanks Wes

  • @CTNWB Sorry, I don't know Ben Alexander.

  • Do you have 1950?

  • @bjoh249 Yes, and if the link would show, I'd post it. Check all the video's on my channel and you'll find it.

  • @bjoh249 Yes, and if the link would show, I'd post it. Check all the video's on my channel and you'll find it. It's a part one of two.

  • I remember most of these tv shows. But, Boston Blackie I never saw. It was shown before or when I was born. I was born in August 1952. . But, most othem I remember fondly. I wish they could all be shown again. I like AMOS AND ANDY. Too bad they cancel it because the NAACP thought it was streotyping blacks. They could have used it as a door way to be a postive force for black people back then.Roy Rogers was one of my favorites I woould love to see his show again.

  • @trayguy Gotta luv the Kingfish!

  • ooops.....Harry Morgan as Bill Gannon was not on the 5os version of Dragnet - only on the revival in the 60s.

  • Isn't it amazing that Amos n Andy is politically incorrect, but they can show Good Times and Sanford and Son, both which are much worse??? I don't want TV putting anyone down, but let's get some perspective here!

  • /watch?v=ZzqRaimyJws my TV show, 1959, I'm trying to create

  • Dont mean to split hairs and i like your post, but Lucy did not use the satin hart opening in 1951

  • @CTNWB Ben Alexander was also an actor who portrayed Officer Frank Smith on Dragnet opposite Jack Webb's Joe Friday when Dragnet first appeared on TV. As an aside, Jack Webb also played Joe Friday on the Dragnet radio program ... just as entertaining.

  • Why disfigure the Boston Blackie intro with that crawl tha blacked out a third of the screen?

  • The cop shows Daddy loved. I just barely remember Boston Blackie. Think that was short lived. Dragnet went on for 138 years. LOL! Everybody watched Lucy. I couldn't stand Roy Rogers. I don't remember Amos N Andy on TV. That probably didn't last long either with them in black face. That was the era of doing away with that type of thing. I remember Burns and Allen and I Married Joan. Those 2 and Lucy were my favorites.

  • @RovingCounter wow...is that right? The heart covers up the philip morris logo? I am 57 years old and I don't think I ever remember the PM logo or ad there. I sure do remember lee marvin hawking Pall malls during M-Squad.. I seem to have a very good memory for TV related things even back to about 2 or 3 years old. I think my favorite vintage TV show is probably 77 Sunset Strip

  • Can anyone tell me ,what episode was the Amos and Andy intro?
