  • Roman Catholics pray to the Virgin Mary for intercession. They do not worship her.

  • We don't worship Mary or the Saints--we ask them to pray for us, just as we would ask a friend still on earth to pray for us.

  • I am agnostic and fascinated by these claimed apparitions and how people interpret them

  • nice I loved it !!

  • Yes catholics and orthodox Christians pray to Mary and the Saints for intercession with God. it is not worshipping them

  • we honor her whole heartedly, <3

  • Holy Mother,,,We as your sons and daughters, are slow to learn, and please accept our apologies for having to appear so many times to try and bring peace between people and lead them to your son Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

  • Let us start a habit of praying the Rosary, pray for the souls that they may be led to heaven. Let us continue not to displease our Lord who is already suffering greatly.

  • As the garage workmen who were watching the apparition were all Moslems, they looked on keenly and they all became extremely astonished. The Blessed Virgin who appeared in a luminous body, moved on the dome and bowed and knelt before the cross..!

I have had the bliss of witnessing the Virgin's apparitions over the domes of Virgin's Church in Zeitoun.

  • Plus, religion is supposed to be a source of spiritual intelligence, shouldn't pure light and truth enlighten the understanding instead of just blotting it with dogma?

  • This craving for supernatural signs is not the original faith taught by Christ himself who condemned a religion based on miraculous evidence, in his words: "an evil and adulterous generation ask me for a sign". We should judge a religion not by its ability to produce signs (like voodoo!) but by the soundness of its doctrine and the lasting effects on individuals, communities and nations. Again Christ: "by their fruits thou shalt know them".
