@stuporstar i have an ex that works in one i feel for her she is so miserable thats why i never give workers crap if they cant do anything for me i give the super a ration of shit

Strange to think that she could have made a fortune as a model instead, although obviously she was a smart girl so probably wanted to do something that required use of the mind too. Sad story though.

Events like these remind of how important it is to have a friend or someone you can share your innerself with to avoid emotional decisions like a suicide. What a sad loss for a bright young worker !

@lirim1989 Liar. What someone told you to call the customer back to offer Foxtel is a lie. As much as I don't like telstra's customer service, this is pathetic. You have a choice, leave the job if the company is not for you

I can't believe all you heartless bastards saying she is gutless, blaming the parents, saying if she not happy to leave the job. It's not that simple, people need money to live, we don't know what financial situation she was in, she might have needed the job to pay her bills and leaving the job would make things worse, employers rely on workers being in financial hardship or the fear of loosing their job to push for more productivity, how can some of you say she deserved it, stress and depressi

@lirim1989 i work there now... it sucks
Kazamma- you are wrong. I worked for a year in call centres, by the end i was seriously depressed from the repetitive, insular, isolating experience of mindlessly repeating the same words over and over with ZERO time to interact with colleagues- worsened by total isolation in a cubicle that cut out light and a view of those around me. Worse of all... EVERY minute of the day was computer graphed and checked by supervisors- you could be disciplined for slowing work speed for a single minute. Hell.

I used to work for Telstra at a company called Vertex, (previously called PCI as most people would know it) in Melbourne. They were extremely pushy and expected us to sell to people who didnt need it, Not being that kind of person, id only offer a product if i knew it would benefit a customer....My last manager before i quit came up to me after i finished a call, yelled at me and harassed me to call a customer back to offer foxtel, i said i didnt want to, two days later i was fired. telstra SUK
