@481095ymg2 They probably took Nistor because she got 15.9 and silver on beam at the 2007 worlds.

Nistor did score pretty good in the AA on BB.
I didn't realize that they didn't use her in the TF despite making the BB finals! That's kinda weird...although the team did have other WC medalist on the BB.

We all could tell that she had that strict and intelligent education in gymnastics to add movements on the spot once they make a mistake, she was smart by adding a third jump when she had a little wobble... well done.

@darkexcalibur87 Many many many many gymnasts did it at the Olympics. Steliana Nistor first did a variation of the skill in 2007 and many gymnasts had variations of the skill here.

If she was the only Romanian to qualify for beam finals, why didn't they use her for team finals??

@markedexclusive The coaches felt that Nistor, Izbasa, and Tamirjan could bring in higher scores than her. I wish that they had replaced Nistor on beam with Dragoi. Nistor still didn't score very highly in TF and in qualifying, Nistor had a hit routine and still only scored 15.075, I think.
