Aaaaand here's my 55 gallon planted community tank. I hate the aquascaping in this tank sooooooo much, arg. I wanna rip everything out and start over. Oh well. Anyway, fish list:

Congo tetras
Neon tetras
Harlequin rasboras
Volcano rasboras
Sailfin mollies
Kribensis cichlid pair
German blue ram
Whiptail catfish
Peppered corys
Melanistius corys
American-flag fish
Chinese algae eaters

The neons used to be part of a big school, but NTD wiped most of them out, so I'm just waiting for the rest to go, at this point. The CAEs are a PITA...got them when I was still a n00b, arg. Still, they don't attack my other fish and there's only an occasional territorial squabble. My male sailfin molly is one of the nastiest fish in the tank, lol. And the kribs and ram get along surprisingly well. I heard the flagfish were gonna be nasty...nope. They're perfect gentlemen.

  • Congo tetras are awesome. :) I don't use co2 in any of my tanks--they're all super low-tech.

  • Great tank. I love the congos.

  • how do the kribs and blue rams get on together??

  • I don't think the scape and the fish really goes together, mainly because the fish is too big making the scape look small. If you have smaller fish it'll bring out the scape much better because the attention will go to the tanks rather then the fishes.

  • what lighting are you using thats an amazing amazon for no co2

  • Great set up those are huge congos do still have them? 5*

  • sweet congos brah! i plan on buying 5-6 tomorrow for my 55 gallon currently with a pictus catfish and 2 clown loaches:)

Do u pump co2 into the water??

  • that aquascape is better then mine lol
