University of Minnesota students unveiled their new Solar vehicle - "Centaurus II." The vehicle has a reduced weight and reduced drag to help make it more efficient. It's a light vehicle that should help the team in this year's American Solar Challenge.

  • cool car. really space age looking.

  • the reason they look that way is to maximize the space for the solar cells and also so they are more directly in the sun. a car with lots of curves will have some cells that aren't getting full power.

  • why does it always look so weird? cant they make a normal car look? weird look makes me not want to buy the car even if i like the idea of the solar power source idea
