THIS THING ACTUALLY WORKS!!!
FIRST TRY WITH NO FURTHER MODIFICATIONS!!!
I CAN'T BELEIVE IT!!!

Plow/Frame/linkage made entirely of scrap metal and used car parts welded together. No measurement made, just slapped it together as I went.
Tractor was free, I have one $0.49 hitch pin on it. Other than that the whole thing cost me nothing.

I made another vid that shows the build in detail.

  • Hahhahahhh you got a fucking pig roaster lid for a snow plow.... FYL lollll

  • Necessity is the mother of invention, folks--this video is a prime example of that! =)

  • Another low cost alternative for a rear mounted snow plow is Hitch 'N Plow which is a 3 point hitch adapter that allows you to attach a category 1 farm implement to your 2" Reese hitch. Cost of adapter is $149 and all you need is a winch (about $100) and a 6' 3pt blade which is about $300. In total about $550 for a low cost snow plow. I developed and patented this when I lived in Lapeer, MI. Search on Hitch 'N Plow on YouTube for a video.

  • HE-HE.Gas can in one hand and a smoke in the other!Thats funny.Looks like it works pretty well.Good job Man.Thanks for sharing your vid.
