The Balbriggan Public Realm Plan Steering Group held a public presentation in the Town Hall on Wednesday 23rd February 2011.
Over 100 people attended to hear consultants LOCI outline draft strategies for short, medium and long term projects to enhance the appearance of Balbriggan town from improved streets to better public spaces.
LOCIs work builds on earlier consultation with a wide range of people and organizations including input from a public meeting and workshop held last October. The ongoing input of the people of Balbriggan into the preparation of the public realm plan is essential for the success of this project.
The proposals are now on display in the Town Hall until 9th March 2011 and submissions from the public are welcome. The public realm plan is supported by Balbriggan Town Council, Fingal County Council, Balbriggan Chamber of Commerce and the Heritage Council.
