Robert was excellent in this bit. When the one vamp says, "now without cause," you can absolutely see in Edward's face that he's going to give them cause. No problem. . I can see though out the books why the Volturi think the Cullans are dangerous. They've proven that vamps can live without human blood. That vamps can have that enormous discipline to go against their own natures and Aro sees that as a massive threat, even tho' the Cullans don't think that way. They just want to be left alone.

It's interesting that Aro offered a place to Edward because Edward would be the only one to be able to tell the one Volturi, Aro's brother-in-law, that he killed his sister and the one's wife to keep his brother-in-law's talents in his power. He's my favorite of the Volturi. He's on the side of true love as he loved his wife. I've wondered what he would do to Aro if he found out that Aro killed his wife? I believe it's why he's so inert and non-caring. This actor is surperb in the role.

Edward walking scene was like a little over 40 sec but they opted to cut that 10 seconds from Aro, and that 3 seconds from Caius?! whew!

my favorite character is Aro, omg, he is so perfect and I love Michael Sheen as Aro!

aro really is such a genius villian. i think stephanie actually wrote him extremely well. she just didn't elaborate on him enough. i'd like to read a book solely about the volturi..

CANNOT wait for Breaking Dawn Part 2 with the epic confrontation with the Volturi and the other covens.. I have been waiting 3 years to see that since the book came out.... the Volturi will have more screen time there...
