@welly103 I want Elvis and his kind to sing not make bad , just i do not like it particularly. His immense popularity must tell me, that I am wrong, but my taste says something else - I'm sorry. I found Elvis in his early days (before he started to yodel) best.
But this not a reason to fight each other, it is good, that the people have a different
taste, otherwise it would be boring!

@MAGICO240 The problem is, I'm not an Elvis fan and I don´t like the sound of his voice.
But as everyone has their own taste. Elvis was without doubt a great singer, but I found and still find other better. Judging by sales figures, Elvis was and is still the greatest! (but not for me)
so, everybody has his own taste!

@wambui37 I love Kenny but Elvis version kicks out of the way to Kenny's. This last sounds like if he was talking while the King's version is just from another world. Even this take is better.

@wambui37 Sorry, I like Kenny, but he is not even close to Elvis! Kenny almost talks the song while Elvis' power and emotion really make you feel the words instead of just being told the words. But like you said, that's just my opinion.

the interpretation of Kenny Rogers is so much nicer! and Kenny's voice is much, much nicer. Also, the versions of Millie Jackson and Petula Clark are better than the Elvis version, but as always a matter of taste, but it is my opinion.
