the subject is:
Kathleen Mulligan, a native American, studied Islamic studies in Hanover. She fell in love with Hamid, and iranian guy. She married him and moved with him to Iran, where she converted to Islam. But Kathleen is pregnant by rape. After she aborted the baby, she is convicted to 25 whip blows, a year in prison (isolated) and because of adultery (the rap) to death by stoning. Her friends and relatives tried to eliberate her from the prison.

Maybe they posted the German overdub of the movie (filmed in English) since the production crew appears to be German.
