  • Did the ball do something to piss you off? lol i get you might have a quick tempo but that's too much. pretty solid don't get me wrong, but slow it down some and get under control. you didn't hold your finish on any shot so your balance is a little out. I'm not tellin you to pose but it's a good way of keeping within yourself. clubface a bit shut at the top too but that's ok.

  • Well in the 6 months since this video was taken I've worked on slowing down the initial takeaway. Not much change to tempo or speed as I think its a great strength in my swing, generates good ball speed and distance which I don't want to lose.

Its true I don't hold my finish,I'm trying to do that more, I often didn't think much about the swing after contact, can't do much too effect the ball at that point. Always said don't care if I fall on my face as long as the ball goes where I want it to.

  • Very fast backswing to say the least. You come upright a lot also, I bet you catch the floor a lot in your game. Although you may take nice divots, too.

  • Yes I have an upright swing and have clubs fitted 4 degrees upright. However I don't actually catch the ground that much. I never take divots on the course. I do tend to pick or sweep the ball very clean.

  • Nice athletic swing but I believe your arms and hands are out racing your body in the backswing probably causing a flat back swing or quick transition. In your backswing try starting by lowering your left shoulder as you turn. Your left shoulder should be 26 degrees (PGA pro average) lower than your right shoulder (ie your shoulder tilt) as you turn to maintain a spine angle that will create a good swing plane. Do the opposite on your follow through so you stay with the shot. Think tempo too.

  • thats one weird looking swing....

  • SLOW DOWN!

And your not hitting the ball right,

    Just calm it down.

  • square your shoulders at address!

  • you won't lose any distance/ball speed if you better your tempo. by bettering your tempo i mean being more in control, tempo is individual but you must have control. maintaining the torque and angle coming into the ball affects clubhead speed. improve your tempo and you'l hit it flush more often and be more consistent which is key.

  • you have a very good plane in your swing ...but to prevent alot of misses you should think about slowing down your takeaway..
