I have the same CPU Cooler as you (and case funnily enough) and I may have missed it but did you put any sort of contact between the cooler and the CPU. I have heard people mention the need for something but can't find a simple answer.

@ItsAudioworm Thermal paste. and your Heatsink fan or Liquid cooling comes with it pre applied. Unless you bought a used one.

You should have looked more asked someone or went on newegg and looked for deals i built my computer for 1400 dollars and i have a gtx 580 i72600k 1tb samsung spinpoint 1000watt power supply fatality motherboard haf case 8gigs of ram and u payed 1200 for yours you could have done better imo but thanks for uploading a video on how to build a computer most people dont know how to and wind up getting a pre built peice of shit! :D

Im only 13 and i built a computer. it goe 4.3GHz on overclock with a 90 + gold power suply. Also a Thermal Teach gt level 10 case and evea gtx 580... BOOM!!!
