Honestly as an American I dont know why so many hate him. He may've made a mistake but it wasn't any of our buisnes. Its because of people like Rush Limbaugh, Karl Rove, and all the other right wing bastards that people hate him. The politically ignorant are the ones who belive them. I think he was the best American president since Eisenhower, and I'm glad I now know that people who live outside the country have as much respect for him as I do.

Putting him at 41st on moral authority after Nixon is an incredibly bad choice. He has sexual indiscretions, so what? Didn't JFK? GHWB? I seriously doubt that there is a President in the history of this country who did not have "sexual relations" with one of his aides or interns. I don't care what Clinton's sex life was like. I just care what he did for the country. People say it affected his ability to run the country and they are right it affected his ability because of the unnecessary leaks.

Well the C-span poll from 2009 put him at 37th in moral authority which was higher than that one Jennings brough up from 2000, but even so, that's still not high enough. Overall, he was ranked 15th best. That's higher than all the other presidents of the last 40 years with the exception of Reagan and LBJ, and I think Clinton will even outrank them eventually. He was obviusly the best president of my lifetime (I was born in '93) and was even the best president of my parents' lifetime.

I would agree with you about Clinton being the best in your (or our) lifetime(s). I was born in '86. I mean, the growth and prosperity in the Clinton years was unseen since, well, I don't know, but rightists always forget this. I mean, okay, the guy got a few BJ's in office. BIG DEAL! Rate the man on his accomplishments. People acted like he had pulled a Richard Nixon, but he didn't. Nixon actually didn't even have anything to do with Watergate initially, but he tried to cover it up.

It's a fact that conservatives have been trying to get Clinton ever since his days as governor of Arkansas. I just hate the constant smear tactics. He did a lot of great things while in office, but all anyone ever remembers is the Lewinsky affair. Prosperity, success, peace, security, entrepreneurship? No one remembers that. Or if they do, they try to immediately discredit it all based on his sexual indiscretions.

Yea, the right wing jackasses forget his acomplishments. They brainwash the public into beleiving he was so awful and they brainwash them into beliving Reagan was bigger than Jesus. Reagan wasn't awful, but is extreamly overated. I think Clinton out performed Reagan in many areas. Republican bitch and moan about the Lewinsky Scandel, yet they forget about the Iran Contra scandel. Reagan illeagally sold arms to Iran, a sworn enemy of the U.S. and nothing happens to him.
