@jafnjlk To clarify... this is NOT the 2001 PBS show...this is his most recent PBS show from last year. Not sure how you could make that mistake if you were at the 2001 show, as you said. He looked totally different in 2001. Some of that show IS on YouTube, but not Cara Mia. It WAS on here, but was removed due to copyright..however, right before he sang Cara Mia in the 2001 show, he sang This Magic Moment, which IS on here...it's the one with the blue background with the trumpet player .~Dawn

To jafnlk.. Sorry, you're wrong. You say you were at the 2001PBS show...maybe you were , but this isn't it...this is is most recent PBS show about a year ago...it's actually being rerun alot right now...Rock Pop and Doo Wop...Jay is 73 years old in this one. The 2001 show is on here too, but only This Magic Moment..the blue background video one down from this one...

I'm glad I finally ran accross this on Youtube---this was during a 2001 performance for PBS's Rock, Rhythm, and Doo Wop series---performed at Pittsburgh, PA---I was there, and he stole the show with this performance.

Just amazing!!! He sounds as good as he did when i saw him in the early 70s. The other band with the imitation Jay cant touch this. Just stunning talent!! This guy whales out this song. what a gifted fantastic voice. What can be said, the voice speaks for itself!!!

Amazing doesn't even begin to cover this performance. If I could hit only one of those notes I'd feel special---but to have his voice in this kind of shape after all these years! No wonder I've been mesmerized for decades!
