I still don't see how it's a waste. If the person who is eating it finds value in it, then it's not a waste of money. One could say the same about someone eating at a restaurant...that they wasted their money, because they spent extra money going out to eat than just eating at home.

i actually went to serendipity for my birthday... did not order this but did order THE MOST AMAZING FROZEN HOT CHOCOLATE AND BROWNIE SUNDAE and it blew my mind. I mean it wasn't gold but it was amazing to eat and the bill for both totaled around 20 bucks. it was totally worth every penny
