This video shows the Expert Sleepers Silent Way plug-ins controlling an Analogue Systems RS Integrator modular synth. The plug-ins are running in Ableton Live. The audio interface is a MOTU Ultralite Mk3.
The Silent Way Voice Controller is generating the pitch and gate CVs; the Silent Way DC plug-in is generating an LFO via Live's parameter automation, which is controlling the waveshape input of the RS-95 oscillator.

  • question on the cables: are those regular TS patch cables connected to a regular stereo 3,5" to 1,4" adaptor so it fits on the audio interface?

  • @carbon23 Yes. I don't recommend that though. TRS to TS 'floating ring' cables are preferred.

  • silent way works using motu ultralite mk3 connected via USB?

  • It works using the Firewire version, so I see no reason why it wouldn't work with the recently-released "hybrid" Firewire/USB version.

  • probably. I'd be grateful if you'd try it out and let me know how it works.

  • not currently. is that something you'd find useful?

would you need polyphonic gates too?
