Julian Hertz - The Penalty [Finale Podiumbeest 2011]

Sunday the 11th of december I competed in the final of the talent contest "Podiumbeest" against 7 other contestants. Everybody had already won the preliminary rounds so the competition was fierce! I'm happy to announce that... I WON! =] I sang 4 songs of which one cover The Penalty by Beirut. The judges were all experts in different fields, cabaret, theater, dance, singer-songwriter. Dotan (known from the hit song "This Town" Serious Talent/3FM) said that "His unique style adds something new to the Dutch music industry" he also invited me to participate at a Serious Talent singer-songwriter night in Amsterdam. Festival Phonq also invited me to play at their festival in the first weekend of February!
