  • Why are all of those white people there to take what belongs to haitian people.

  • @supervirtuouswoman : there are three Haitians in this video, including internationally recognized Master Drummer Frisner Augustin, bringing a small sample of Haitian Culture to North America, trying to expose people in the USA to the real form and intent of the Haitian Voodoo Religion, as opposed to the Hollywood version of zombies and black magic. What can " all of those white people " possibly " take ", other than to take home in their hearts knowledge and appreciation ?

  • I doubt most Lwa care who is singing their praises as long as it is done respectfully. And one I know of, Maman Brigitte, Queen of the graveyard and wive of Le Baron, is a white woman who was originally worshiped as St. Brigit (the christianisation of an ancient celtic fire goddess) and came to Haiti with large populations of Scottish exiles sent to the island who either died or merged with the rest of the Haitian population. This is not a simple matter.

    Atibon Legba!

  • @supervirtuouswoman no ones taking anything.....

  • very nice song

  • @supervirtuouswoman And voudu doesn´t "belong" to anyone... indeed all human kind "belong" to the fate of the Invisibles... But I know, as a black dominican woman, I can understand you... Whites look wannabe and fake sometimes... But those here seem very respectful to me... Hope every white privileged person in this world could turn to be a respectful serviteur one day... Ayibobó!

  • Papa Legba the gatekeeper!

  • @hdadr

wow thats great points of view... wonderful enlightened answer..

  • @lulu07Lulu I do not know if I know what you mean, tell me, what reputation have Ukrainians created for themselves? Struggles and farming? Hopes of not being wiped out in genocide again? They are responsible too? I mean, you say "caucasian," so you are obviously including them. Why not romanians or Latvians? What about Bulgarians? Or Croatians? Or even Turkish? These caucasians are responsible for teaching an erroneous perception of Voo Doo? Your statements are wrong

  • bad view. white people dont exist. sad comment.

  • Really, it all boils down to who are you to question the people the Lwa call to serve them? Unless the person you are questioning is your ti-fey, you shouldn't cast aspersions on their service. And if they /are/, I have to wonder why you initiated them. So long as someone serves them in the correct manner, with the correct intentions, so long as the regleman is observed, it isn't your place to doubt it.

  • @supervirtuouswoman

I have to agree with you. The reputation that Caucasians have created for themselves is one of destruction and devious intentions. Instead of teaching the truth about Voo Doo to the very people responsible for its erroneous perception I’d rather this be performed in front of people of African decent.

  • i love the video it was beautiful
