WATERJET DX612 Rapid Positioning

The new DX Series WATERJET provides the fastest positioning and cutting speeds in the industry. The DX series have a new independent frame and work tank design. The Gantry Style Movement System travels the extra rigid box constructed X-axis Bridge on a set of LM guides supported by a frame constructed from 20 I-beam material. The Y-axis is driven by dual Mitsubishi Brushless AC Servo Motors and high-pitch 40mm double anchored ball screws for unmatched positioning accuracy, ±0.002. This new design provides the industries fastest rapid positioning and cutting speed of up to 787/min. All drive components, LM guides and ball screws are maintained by an Auto-Lubrication System and kept clean by a double bellows way cover system keeping shop dust, dirt and Waterjet splash completely away from the drive components thus reducing maintenance time and extending machine life.
