  • This blows my butt plug every time, speaking metaphorically. That old dude with the bad hair could really play the guitar and sing way better than me. Damn, I didn't know that was possible.

Gatorrock787 is a hero. I started following him when he was Gatorrock1 but then YouTube found fault and he was gone. Never give up. Try try again. He did, 787 times so far because you need to defeat SOPA and PIPA or it will all have been in vain. Keep the music alive, the Corporate Leeches haven't even tried.

  • @GeorgieWise Oh great wiseman, it's good to see you are still with us. I won't give up if you don't either. Thanks for the kind words... it seems like so long ago when I was Gatorrock 1 ! (actually I was Gatorrock784 initially... before YouTube killed channel after channel). With any luck, this channel will be around for a while.. that is if SOPA and PIPA can be defeated. I look forward to seeing you in Austin some day.

  • Hank was a friend of my Mother's, and he called my grandmother "Mother" My Mom performed on the Calgary Stampeed, and Hank was from Nova Scotia, they became friends for life.. Hank spent alot of time at my house growing up, I have some reel to reel tapes of him goofing off with us and singing, etc etc, He was akind man! He toted my sister on stage at the Ryman when she was a baby!!

  • It hits me in my heart

  • This is when country was country,,Great Classic

I have every song hank snow put out,,Been a Fan from the first time I heard him singing Golden Rocket,,I was 4 years old...50 years later hes still the best..

    Peace from Old Hippie

  • @Ullarobinlilly was lucky enough to play with the great Chubby Wise both backing on guitar and second fiddle. A wonderful man as well as a great musician.

  • Robert on the fiddle is Chubby Wise unless I am mistaken. I saw him at least five times and was always impressed. I'm Georgiewise, I kind of consider us buddies. Like you Gatorrock 1- 10,000.

I know you would have gone down with the ship over there where the ship went down. I have the gift, I can tell. Keep on keeping on man and keep on trucking too. I love this stuff I used to hate, because I'm wiser.

  • Another great one!

  • Hank Snow was Canada's favorite son! Been listening since I was a kid.

  • Today I listened to Hank Snow for the first time. I came into possession of an old LP entitled "The Mysterious Lady, Starring Hank Snow" from 1979. After playing it through three times straight I am left wondering why I haven't heard of this artist before? I can see why he influenced Elvis as much as he did!
