Doctor, let me understand what you are trying to say. The fat tattooed intake worker at the hospita that you describe somehow understands that there is a difference of insurance that someone might or might not have?

My experience is the contrary; the major problem is that the untrained staffs in the hospitals have no idea about insurance. Let alone differences between Medicare and Medicare Advantage.

very misleading, with original medicare that emergrncy room visit can hundreds of dollars most med advantage plans are 50$. Also with a med advantage you pay a flat rate at the dr.s office and not 20 percent,, 20% of what ? 50 ,500 or 5000 $ med advantage saves alot of money

this is such bulshit , first off the new health care bill is trying to get rid of med advantage, second off in an emergency they dont need to get approvals for something simple as an x ray, i think your "story" is a complete bullshit lie.
