Today , I'm going to be making a homemade yogurt and honey facial mask. This one is great for all skin types and it's fun to make!

All you're going to need to make the mask is: 1 tbsp of natural yogurt (make sure it's room temperature and not lowfat or non-fat) and 1 tsp of runny honey.

To start, let's microwave the hardened honey to soften it. We want it to be runny so that it will mix more easily.

Now that the honey is a little melted, let's add the yogurt. If you have dry skin, add an extra teaspoon of honey.

Now that we've combined the ingredients, let's stir the mixture well.

It's time to apply the mask! You can apply it with your hands. Don't worry about getting messy...that's half the fun!
Leave the mask on for 15 minutes.

Yogurt has many benefits for the skin. It's good for moisturizing, cleansing, soothing irritation, softening the skin and clarifying the pores. Yogurt masks help you get rid of dry skin. It can also be used to treat skin conditions like acne and eczema.

Honey is also a beneficial ingredient for the skin. It's a natural antioxidant with anti-microbial properties that help protect the skin from the damage of the sun's rays. It's also known to treat minor acne as it absorbs impurities from the pores in the skin.

After 15 minutes, use a steaming washcloth to remove the sticky mixture.

Your skin will now have a natural glow that will last for days!

  • I have 2 favorites: shea butter and cocoa butter. You can use both on your face and body. They are better than lotions/creams and natural. I have a travel size cocoa butter in my bag. Cococare: The yellow stick. It's a 28g cocoa butter stick and only $1.37. I purchased this online by iherb dot com (they ship worldwide and I live in Hungary) and I love it. If you want anything from this site, I have a cupon code if you want order the first time: VIK284 and you have 5$ off.

  • does this really work

  • This is fab! I get eczema a touch on my face, so this works great for me :D
