Tartu is Estonia's second largest city and it was here that independence movements were initiated. An easy public bus and then a long walking tour through Town Hall Square, past the Leaning House and Tartu University built in 1809.
Even with damp and dreary weather, the leaves were changing color and Tartu had beauty and charm. It has to be so much fun in July when Tartu gets medieval and holds a Hanseatic Days Festival.
Thanks you for watching and commenting. Dinner was very yummy and I'd like to visit again during the summer, especially when the students race around the fountain.

Yeah... thank you for visiting my little city: Tartu!
I hope you enjoyed the dinner in "Püssirohu kelder" (gun powder cellar).
Greetings.
