"The bottom half of the screen consists of a 5 lane highway with incredibly fucked up regulations" ...rofl, Ive seen a few of your other videos and you are good at throwing witty observations.... the main reason I watch. lol
-
It's hard to do things like that when you have about half a kilobyte of memory left to work with.

@kawrght Frogger 2 on PS1, Frogger: The Great Quest on PS2, Frogger's Adventures on Game Boy Advance, there were plenty of Froggers after the PS1 version.

man what a classic gem frogger is :D

@boilerplate Today, doing an "Hello World" demo take more than this! These young kids...

I was gonna complain to the world... but you played the tune I was waiting for at the end of the review. Great job! ;-)

Oh wow, that Frogger theme at the end puts a tear in my eye. I haven't heard that in decades man. Where has the time gone? For some reason as a kid, this game was just hard. It seems easy enough watching this vid, but I don't think I ever made it past the 2nd stage. I wish I had it now, so I can see what was so damn hard about it.

@PompousPreacher we'd all be screwed

I still have this cartridge.

Imagine if our highway system was really set up this way.

If a frog had wings he wouldn't bump his ass when he hopped.
I had this same version. Dude, great writing. And your accent is cool too. Question: what is that music at the start of your Atari reviews?

It's a midi version of "Aqualung" by Jethro Tull.

Why do you use a different version of your theme song for your Atari reviews?
therealhardrock 3 years ago
The Atari reviews are much more brief, so I consider them almost like a different series. Plus I think the midi is more fitting for the 4-bit console.

What the fuck is up with the extreme flickering gfx in this game, you can hardly see a damn thing!

I don't know why it came out like that. It may have been the ROM, but I distinctly remember the actual cartridge not having all that flicker.
