  • Thanks for making this available here, but one criticism: placing results in the video description is usually considered bad form.

  • @EricwithR

Completely agree. It was like putting spoilers at the beginning of a good book.

Regardless thank you so much americas cup for making it available like this.

  • @PhredEn It seems English is not your first language. It not so much about having private conversations with oneself but rather having public conversations with oneself that is a bit off-putting. No offense of course.

  • @electricslipper You couldn't offend me, cause me offence, es. Nor could you confuse me. But having private conversations with yourself here is very odd behaviour.

  • @PhredEn Sorry to confuse you. Check back with me when you have spent some time in the Blue Water....No offense.

  • Very good coverage, and this is the way sports video is going to be, but more. What I'm looking for is information at my fingertips; it's good having course graphics and boat numbers, but *I* want to control them. I want multiple screens I can refer to, with live vid, course & fleet graphics, background data, boat zoom with data, etc.

This whole thing is a study in information. It might drive your spouse crazy, but active watching, multi-processing is where the world of entertainment is going.

  • @boatmik Completely agree, boatmik. It's like Formula 1 now: just a lot of expensive machinery with overpaid team members. Who cares, apart from basic interest in technical innovation?

Tribalism still exists on this planet, and 'friendly competition between nations' was how the AC forefathers designed the Deed of Gift. Note that: Deed of Gift; given to succeeding generations to nurture according to their wishes. A great shame.

  • @electricslipper Huh? What's that all about?

  • WTF???????

Why does the vid description have the spoiler results?????????

  • hobies are BOSS

  • RE: KIWIS Those ludicrous gully-bagging, flaming drongos should be banned from competing for any country other than NZ in internation yacht racing.. They are up to the eyes on speed and steroids and have the intellectual capacity of an in-grown toenail. With that said, they sure have the talent and guts to sail very fast. Perhaps if they spent more time with the sacred moist receptacle and less time swilling beer they might resemble humans.
