Carib ID 2010 Part 1

ZYNC TVs discussion on Carib I D 2010. Caribbean ID 2010 is an initiative developed by a group of Caribbean Community leaders in an effort to petition the United States Census Bureau to include a section or sections in the upcoming census form which will be distributed in 2010 to identify people from the Caribbean as Caribbean Americans or West Indians. Participating in the discussion are: Felicia Persaud - founder of the minority-certified news, PR and advertising agency, Hard Beat Communications, Inc. The company also runs CaribWorldNews.com/ Hardbeatnews.com, the only daily Caribbean Diaspora news wire. Patrick Beckford - President of the North East arm of the Jamaica Diaspora Movement. It is an organization that includes Education, Health, Lobbying and Policy, Public Safety, Trade, Faith-based and Future Leader development initiatives in their programs representing Jamaicans in the North American Diaspora. Kara - Jampact a NGO/not-for-profit organization, whose goal is to make an impact on social and economic issues in Jamaica. She participated as a concerned Caribbean immigrant, living in the United States.
