Yesterday, Saturday November 7th 2009, at l'Alhambra theatre in Paris, was magic. After 35 years, I was blessed to see Steve Hackett live, at last! This is an excerpt of that magic night - sorry about the quality, and I hope you'll like it anyway...
If this video infringes any copyrights, I'll take it away, of course. I just want to share the pleasure I had last night, not push Steve Hackett to bankrupcy.

I prefer to be a frog that a mental defective because of the crossings between usual brothers and sisters on an island as England! Only some geniuses(engineerings) as Steve Hackett and the other rockers whose families were careful remained pure! Not you!

I saw Steve Hackett in Belfast in 2003 and to be honest didn't know a lot about him other than he played in Genesis. I happened to hear his then brilliant new album which drew me in.
The concert was mindblowing as was his guitar playing. He must have been a huge loss to Genesis.

Ignorant frogs clapping! Ugh. But Steve is such a giant that all is forgiven.

This is music fit for a king.
I imagine hearing it on a great lawn on a sunny day, with jugglers and dancers prancing and goofing about on the lawn - all for our high art/aesthetic and psychedelic amusement and enlightenment.
