This is my first screen cast, so it is not good at all, but we have to start somewhere, This video is about how to to configure Ekiga to be used with asterisk, You can check my Asterisk How-Tos, at: http://www.go2linux.org/taxonomy/term/45
@kouklakis The ip of the sip server is the of the network interface of the sip server, I mean where your, let's say, Asterisk may be installed.
If you have your server on the same machine where your Ekiga is you may use 127.0.0.1, or where Asteris is listening, but that is too useful, usually you will have the server in another machine, even in another network.
man one question
the ip of the sip server is the ip of the network interface?
