In his book, Signature in the Cell, philosopher Stephen C. Meyer claims that "intelligent design" is a causally adequate solution to the origin of life problem based on our everyday experience with how information is generated, recorded, stored, and transmitted. Episode 3 explores the causal adequacy of intelligent design as it applies to origins research.

  • Is it your intention to include recent developments regarding the "RNA World" hypothesis? Recent studies at the University of Colorado published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences suggest that the "gaps" are being filled.

    Of course, the "chicken and egg" dilemma goes away when you consider that both chickens and eggs change slightly with each subsequent generation. ;-)
