  • @stratocaster539 "People were jumping because of the acrid black smoke"

    - They were jumping because they chose to fall to their deaths instead of burn painfully. Smoke doesn't motivate you to jump out buildings.

    "suggests an oxygen starved fire."

    - Truther nonsense. Black smoke indicates that plastics are burning. See oil fires which are also petrochemical. They make thick black smoke. They are not oxygen starved. See tire fires.

  • @stratocaster539 "The internal fires were probably more like 360C at best."

    - Years of research into fires indicates just how wrong that estimate is.

"There were people at the entry hole so it couldn't have been that ho"

    - They were at the coldest place.. there isn't even fire near them! Obviously it was hotter on the other side ..that's where the bowing and sagging was seen and it is where the collapses initiated.

  • @stratocaster539 Check this link, but you only have to read page 91...

[(ht tp://ww w. nist. gov/el/disasterstudies/wtc/upload/NFPA_Presentation_on_WTC. p df) - note gaps] The NYPD Aviation Unit warned everyone out to get 3 blocks away from imminent collapse 22 min before event.

Other: The fire rig produced multiple rapports as the lightweight concrete exploded separating the floor trusses from the decking. 40-ish min after fireproofing failure. Failure was imminent.

  • @TRAVL3R1 that's about were I am on it also - we see 200+ external steel girders (surrounding EACH floor) simultaneously ejected over 600 ft in all directions and see the internal steel structure cut into small sections.. + the kinetic forces necessary to pulverize concrete back into powder (a conversion of energy) = the volumous pyroclastic reaction.. all of that energy required to transform all those materials in a single event?.. office fires? ya right..

  • @RichartMedia the top didnt crish the rest.. the building stayed in tack and was demolished from the bottom first

  • The internal fires were probably more like 360C at best. There were people at the entry hole so it couldn't have been that hot.People were jumping because of the acrid black smoke which suggests an oxygen starved fire.Chorus steel conducted fire tests in open car parks in 4 countries. In each one cars where allowed to burn for over a week on unprotected steel will absolutely no effect on the structures.Throughout max temps did not exceed 400C.Bear in mind car parks have open sides, plenty of air.

  • @fascistcat No no. The test ran well beyond the allotted time, without effect. It was conducted in a closed room with a controlled flame. They did not pile a load of debris under it now did they?It failed even though a controlled flame was used because structural steel has 'elasticity' up to about 780C, then 'plasticity' above that. This is where you are all going plainly wrong.Steel can bear over 3 times it's structural loading until it shows plasticity. carbon fire 600C cant achieve this!

  • @stratocaster539 You said, "Nist's test were conducted with 'controlled flames' and still had no effect."

You're just making stuff up. NIST stopped their "full scale" test at 'imminent collapse' to protect the rig.

You should spend more time reading before commenting.
