@mo0nbuggy - absolutely. A lot of folks hunt pigs in the U.S. with AR15's in .223. It is very effective.

@mo0nbuggy no, it can do it with a close in shot, but it's recommended to go to a .243 winchester as a minimum and up. no point in tracking a hog for miles when it's easier to use something bigger.
