Presentation by Diane Mutti-Burke, associate professor of history at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Lecture was presented on October 10th, 2013 in conjunction with the traveling exhibit "Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War".

The exhibit "Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War" was organized by the National Constitution Center and the American Library Association Public Programs Office. This exhibit has been made possible by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities and is based on an exhibit of the same name developed by the National Constitution Center.
