  • Mikey - What size tubing did you use? My Camp. queen decided to park herself in the tubes and when the workers prod her to go into the nest she can't turn around so she just sits there. :P

  • @Godo1313 Our tubes are 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch diameter depending on what nest. Sometimes queens and ants may like the enclosed environment of the tubes. Most of our ants use the tubes as if they are tunnels, which is not harmful. If your queen looks like she isn't bothered by staying in the tube, you should probably wait and see if she will eventually leave on her own when she wants.

  • i wish my name was picked out in the draw :(

  • @AntsEngland Our subscribers will be able to enjoy more fun stuff. The draw is one of several interactive and fun things we will be doing.

  • is it cold in ur place so u put heating cable?

  • @Mozers05 It's air conditioned and still okay for the ants, but I have a little bit of heat (about two or three degrees C above room temperature) so the brood develops quicker and the ants eat more.
