I guess that's both the gift and curse of believing in the supernatural, and that also includes the major religions

yes, it's true that it could have been a simple accident with no curse involved. But the implication in this video is that it was a supernatural act done with the towel. It's part of the culture,same as when Christians attribute an outcome to God.
