@explainingwhy Semitic language (Arabic and Hebrew among them) have something called the Plural of Majesty. Its when the speaker is aware of his own majestic or elevated status and so refers to himself in the plural. Kings and Emperors would have done this, speaking as "we" instead of "I" - so God uses this same tool when speaking in the Quran.

The question is where did the Greeks, Egyptians and Indians get their ideas from? Were they 100% independent creative thinkers? Were they not subject to syncretism, hybridity and determinism? What was their history that led them to include certain values? Since we all come from one common ancestry, from one common region is it so absurd to think that at one point we all shared one belief system?

You do realize that your argument is pointless due to the anti-history proposed by Abrahamism in general that is impossible to disprove. You are analyzing historical religion and philosophy as if it were linear. However, according to Islam (as well as other religions) God was with us, and established his religion since the beginning. All philosophy and religion from that point was either diluted or invented. Islam is the reestablishment of the ancient religion.
