HORRID

Actually this song was about his soon-to-be-divorced wife Sarah Lowdnes - not some woman that caught his eye while touring. In fact the whole album Blood on the Tracks was supposed to be about his ending relationship with her. As his son Jakob siad, Blood on the Tracks was an ongoing dialog between his parents. These lyrics are pretty intense and enduring for some woman he just met on the road.

Absolutely great interpretation - super cool. I've been listening to Dylan since 60s. Always happy to hear a fresh interpretation (Dylan would approve too - he hates to be pigeon-holed), especially the jazzification of the melody line (sorry skoreccki7 - you are out of line).

shitty old beatnick stuff, shitty old jazz, where's dylan gone? ... he was the beat generation all by himself, no use to stupidly jazz him up ... i've knwon ben sidran more inspired ...

This album (Dylan Different) is a must have. Absolutely perfect and one of Mr. Sidran's best.

This is magic! I have a new hero now. Great cover of a great song.

The joy, the fun, the respect for the song, the well ballanced performance : great job !
